Refund and Cancellation Policy
Ohmbo credit, digital-service, prototype and manufacturing refund rules
This Tact Limited policy summarizes Section 7 of the Ohmbo Terms of Service. The Terms, an express promise made at purchase and any agreed Order govern the actual transaction. Non-excludable consumer rights remain. New terms do not reduce rights under an existing Order.
Credits and digital services
Paid design credits do not automatically expire, but are not cash and are generally not refundable for a change of mind, unused balance or abandoned project. Properly delivered digital work and consumed credits are not refunded simply because you viewed, downloaded or no longer want the result. If a platform fault prevents agreed delivery, we first rerun or restore the task without charge; if that is not reasonably possible, we restore affected paid credits. Persistent nonperformance and legally required refunds are handled under the Terms.
Engineering and manufacturing Orders
A cancelled Order is settled for conforming stages completed, agreed work actually performed in progress, authorized incurred or irrevocable external costs and any expressly agreed lawful cancellation charge. Deposits are applied to those sums and the balance refunded or paid; costs already in stage prices are not billed twice. After authorized fabrication or assembly begins, corresponding costs are not refundable for convenience. Defective delivery and other non-excludable remedies remain.
Express prototype promises
For a Proto Kit that expressly promises a full refund if factory review finds that the design cannot be built within the purchased scope and no remedy is agreed before fabrication, that promise applies. We also honor another express offer or Order promise made to you at purchase. A negative conclusion in a separately priced feasibility study can still be conforming delivery.
Defects and refund requests
Tell us the Order number, affected revision and specific issue at support@ohmbo.com. We investigate and normally first correct, rerun, rework or replace where lawful and reasonable. If that fails, serious breach occurs or law requires an immediate refund, we provide the appropriate refund, price reduction or other remedy. Downloading output or starting fabrication does not eliminate mandatory rights. We initiate a confirmed refund within 10 working days unless law requires sooner; payment-provider settlement time may differ. See Sections 7.6–7.11 of the Terms for detail.
