# Ohmbo > Ohmbo is an AI-assisted PCB design and prototype assembly service for hardware founders, firmware engineers and makers. Describe a board in plain English, preview a draft, and request engineer review and physical prototypes. The $149 Proto Kit includes AI design, engineer review and five assembled boards within the approved kit scope: low-voltage DC, 2-layer FR-4, 1.6 mm thickness, green solder mask, up to 100 × 100 mm, single-sided SMT, up to 5 through-hole parts and up to $10 in components per board. Four- and six-layer boards require engineer review and a separate quote. Shipping and import duties are extra, quoted before payment. Eligible orders ship 10–15 working days after engineer approval, not after the initial prompt. Courier transit is additional; the current estimate is confirmed before payment. Each board is checked against an agreed written test plan, test firmware and acceptance criteria, with a per-board report. Test scope and firmware responsibility are confirmed before payment. This is not a certification or a guarantee of every possible function. Each website account gets one free online board design preview. Free previews do not include physical boards or downloadable design/manufacturing files. Files are released after payment confirmation and order release. Orders and payments are confirmed manually with the team. The hosted MCP endpoint is not deployed yet. The MCP page describes the intended workflow; do not treat its examples as a working public endpoint or verified client integration. Operator-issued access is separate from the free website preview. Board gallery entries are concept examples, not evidence of manufactured or tested customer deliveries. The service does not accept mains-powered, medical, automotive or high-speed designs. Check the current pricing and workflow for scope and exclusions. The order terms, refund and acceptable-use pages still contain unresolved legal-review placeholders; confirm applicable terms with the team. This file is a navigation aid, not a replacement for robots.txt, order-specific engineering approval or contractual terms. ## Product and ordering - [Ohmbo](https://ohmbo.com/): Product overview and the online board design preview. - [Pricing and Proto Kit scope](https://ohmbo.com/pricing.md): Markdown reference for included specifications, component limits, shipping and separate-quote work. - [How it works](https://ohmbo.com/how-it-works): Design, engineer review, order confirmation, manufacturing, testing and shipment. - [For hardware startups](https://ohmbo.com/startups): Planning a first prototype without an in-house layout engineer. - [Contact](https://ohmbo.com/contact): Discuss feasibility, test requirements, quotes and ordering. ## Developer documentation - [MCP workflow and availability](https://ohmbo.com/docs/mcp.md): Markdown reference for tool descriptions, asynchronous jobs, access and download boundaries; hosted endpoint not yet deployed. ## Prototype guides - [Custom PCB prototype costs](https://ohmbo.com/blog/custom-pcb-prototype-cost.md): Cost components, kit limits and questions to ask before payment. - [Your first custom PCB prototype](https://ohmbo.com/blog/first-custom-pcb-prototype.md): Requirements, review and acceptance planning for a first board. - [Engineer review](https://ohmbo.com/blog/pcb-engineer-review.md): How engineering review differs from an AI draft or automated check. - [Prototype testing](https://ohmbo.com/blog/pcb-prototype-testing.md): Written test plans, firmware, acceptance limits and per-board evidence. - [Prototype deliverable files](https://ohmbo.com/blog/pcb-prototype-deliverable-files.md): Gerber, BOM, STEP and KiCad files, ownership and release conditions. - [Two-layer and four-layer boards](https://ohmbo.com/blog/2-layer-vs-4-layer-pcb.md): Layer-count tradeoffs; multilayer work is outside the $149 kit. - [Arduino to custom PCB](https://ohmbo.com/blog/arduino-to-custom-pcb.md): Choose a shield, module carrier or integrated board, with programming and handoff checks. - [PCB prototype lead time](https://ohmbo.com/blog/pcb-prototype-lead-time.md): Plan approval, order readiness, shipment, transit and demo integration separately. - [ESP32 custom PCB design](https://ohmbo.com/blog/esp32-custom-pcb-design.md): Requirements checklist for module selection, power, GPIO, programming and acceptance; not an RF design tutorial. ## Policies - [Order terms](https://ohmbo.com/legal/order-terms): Scope confirmation, payment and order responsibilities. - [Refund policy](https://ohmbo.com/legal/refunds): Cancellation and refund conditions. - [Acceptable use](https://ohmbo.com/legal/acceptable-use): Project restrictions. - [Terms of service](https://ohmbo.com/terms): General service terms. - [Privacy policy](https://ohmbo.com/privacy): Data handling and contact information. ## Optional - [Board concepts](https://ohmbo.com/boards): Example requirements and conceptual designs; not verified delivery case studies. - [Ohmbo and Diode](https://ohmbo.com/vs/diode): Scope comparison that distinguishes Diode Self-serve from Enterprise; check current supplier pricing. - [About Ohmbo](https://ohmbo.com/about): Team and service background. - [Chinese overview](https://ohmbo.com/zh/): Chinese-language introduction; the prototype guides above are in English. - [XML sitemap](https://ohmbo.com/sitemap.xml): Canonical public URLs and available language variants.
